Comments:
Much of the training for basic seaplane will take place just north of Richmond, Virginia or Lake Anna. Lake Anna has over a hundred miles of shoreline and offers excellent training areas to practice all of the skills necessary. Training for advanced seaplane will be conducted on lakes and rivers from west of Richmond, VA to points east along the rivers feeding into the Chesapeake Bay. Upon registration you will receive: recommended reading, training syllabus, travel and destination information. First day of class you will receive: flight manual, course book, and training map. After the course is completed you will receive: framed certificate, SPA membership package and complimentary VAA shirt or hat. Examiner's fee not included in course rates. Call for solo rental minimum qualifications and limitations.
