Comments: Over 55 lakes and 3 rivers in the beautiful Bitterroot Mountains for quality and fun training with a retired Alaska Trooper pilot. Flight training required varies with pilots. Area activities include fly fishing, hiking, boating and the famous "floating green golf course." Rental lake cabins and house available. Student references available on request. SES Course for private or commercial pilots includes 7 hours of flight instruction in the J3, up to 3 hours of ground instruction, course book, training DVD and 6 months Water Flying magazine subscription/SPA membership. Advanced Course includes the SES course and 3 additional hours flying to mountain lakes, rivers, and more. See AC 61-91H for more information on Seawings certification. Seawings and BFR courses available only to SES-rated pilots. Alaska Techniques course covers river operations, mountain flying, confined landings and takeoffs, maximum performance, and game spotting.
