Comments:
I give float plane instruction in a PA-18-180; my office is located on Lake Hood seaplane base. The float plane season begins in May when the ice goes out and continues through September each year. I use a curriculum that has been fine tuned over the past 18 years of giving float ratings. I have owned and operated two DeHavilland DHC-2 floatplanes, one Cessna 185 and a Super Cub. The examiner fee is $400.
