Early Season Northeast Seaplane Splash In

A few of us from New York and New Jersey are trying to put a Seaplane Spash In together for somewhere in Eastern New York for a weekend in June, preferably in the beginning of the month. Since this is our first attempt, it will not be a grand event, but we would like to learn and expand over time.

If anyone is interested, please let us know. Also if you have a suggestion for a location, that would also be appreciated. We are hoping to be somewhere upstate that is convenient to as many as possible. Could also be in Western Vermont. We are hoping for something with a beach or dock that has a motel and restaurant(s) near by. Speculater unfortunately is already booked up with multiple functions for the month.

I just found out that we are going to be able to hold this on the lake at Speculator, the weekend of June 2nd (Saturday) and 3rd. If you E-mail me, I can give you information as to hotel rooms, times, parking etc.
