Now that Baumann is out of business are others having problems finding parts for B-amphibs. Understand Baslers at OshKosh has most of left over parts but are not helpful at all when call them. Joe (Birkmeyer) has moved on - good guy -good luck Joe but did me a big favor before he left in arranging for repair of bad accutor cylinder.
Same issues here with Baumann and the owners of the parts department at Oshkosh! We are commercial and send email requests with ZERO response??? Why the total lack of concern for all the loyal owners is beyond us! They prefer to do nothing than make the 600% increase we received from them when first taken over! Come on someone....buy the stock and make some money!
UPDATE! The sale of Baumann floats fell through some time ago and Basler has hinted that they will start selling Baumann Parts in 4-6 weeks when it warms up. They will take stock and start selling...stay tuned! Anyone urgently needing parts can contact Randy Myers and give Part #'s and an order request. Boxes are all unmarked (go figure!?) so they will have to search before committing to sell? We managed to make contact and have been promised what we need...better communication this time around. That's interesting. Too bad I couldn't have got them to look for accuators back in December. Had to have new ones fabricated from scratch. Had to replace all four at substainal cost in order for them to match. Couldnt get anyone to even attempt to look.

I too had to replace actuators but was saved by Amphibians Plus in Bartow, Fla. Brilliant shop...give Harry Shannon a call!!! New ones have all the gear down in 13 seconds!
No word on this....Basler is just talking Parts right now and hoping for a Company buyer?
